I am not really sure why but I love this little Dodo bird.

Maybe because they are not around anymore

I find them interesting to look at.

This is a print taken from the book Reptiles and Birds, 1869

Glass tile is appx .9" square and 1/4" thick.

Finished with a silver plated bail and 18" ( 45.7cm) steel ball chain

Backs are finished with Japanese paper and samples are shown.

It's important to note that this item is not meant to be worn in the shower or pool.

Although it has been sealed it is not fully water-proof.
