I really loved this picture of Philippa of Hainault who was the Queen Consort of Edward III in the 1300's.
Most of these Royals stories read like a soap opera with affairs, treachery, beheadings, and the like but Philippa was known for her gentleness and compassion.
I started with a large size typewriter key from a vintage Royal machine.
I placed a lightly hand inked picture of Philippa under the lens and reassembled the key. I lightly hand inked her jewels and crown.
Typewriter key is appx 1/2" x 3/4" and finished with an Aanraku Bail.
